Good for local stuff

Downloaded the app last week. Found a cool playgroup through the Event Listings. It was pretty easy to navigate, though the messaging features took a minute to figure out. Overall, a decent way to find local things to do with the kids.

Always reliable, great community

I've been using Parent Playground for a while now, this was my third annual plan. Each time, the process for renewing my Premium Membership was smooth. I still find the Community Forums really useful for local advice. It's consistent, which is why I keep coming back for the ad-free experience and better Local Service Recommendations. Good to know what to expect.

Hey, anyone know if there's like, a referral bonus for getting friends to sign up? My sister just had a baby and I told her about this app.

A Amanda R. 3 weeks ago
Yeah there totally is! I got some credit when my friend signed up for premium using my link. I think it was a member referral reward, or something like that.

I think so too, I saw something about it in the app settings under subscription stuff. Maybe check there for a link to send her.

where do I even put in a discount code if I get one? I couldn't find a spot.

L Luke L. 1 month ago
It's usually in the app settings, under the subscription management section. That's where I entered mine for an annual plan discount.

Yeah, check in the settings. Or sometimes if it's a referral link, it just applies automatically when you click it.

Is Parent Playground any good for just finding stuff to do with toddlers? Like, local events or playgroups, not just articles.

J Justin Anderson 1 week ago
Definitely! The event listings are pretty decent, especially if you're in a bigger city. I found a great story time through it last month.

Yeah, it's not just articles. There's a family activity guide part and people post playdates in the community forums too.

Is it easy to find playdates through this app? I'm new to the area and looking to meet other moms with kids the same age.

H Hannah Scott 4 weeks ago
Super easy! The group chats and community forums are great for that. Just post what you're looking for, or join an existing group for your kid's age. I've found a few great friends that way.

Yes, the local parent directory and messaging features make it pretty straightforward. You can filter by age and location to find people nearby.

Thinking about getting the premium version. Is it worth it for the ad-free experience, or are the ads not that bad?

B Brian Phillips 6 days ago
Honestly, the ads aren't too intrusive for me on the free version. But the premium does give you other stuff too, like more detailed directory access.

I got premium mainly for the expert advice articles and workshop access. The ad-free thing is a nice bonus, but wasn't my main reason. Depends what features you care about most.
